About Me:
When I first started out as a therapist I was overwhelmed by all the different diagnoses. I learned about anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and more. I never thought I’d sort it all out. Fast forward 12 years later and while I now have the hang of it I’ve a realized that many of these diagnoses improve when people begin to behave differently.
My most depressed client began to realize that she never made time for herself. She bent over backwards for everyone else and had nothing left at the end of the day. Through our work together she began to carve out a few minutes each day just for herself. She noticed that she was starting to feel better. She increased those few minutes to a half hour and noticed she was feeling even better. She then recognized the power of prioritizing herself and how this decreased her depression.
